Do crayfish get along with gold fish, placostemous, platies, and tetras??

My brother has a 55 gallon tank and I want to buy him a crayfish or two but Im not sure they will get along with the other fish in the tank!! They will get up 5 inches long and I just want to make sure everything will be fine with all the fish
